Hope’s Road (formerly Good Samaritan Hospice’s Youth Bereavement Care) will host a free virtual event, “Minecrafting Hope: Building New Connections”, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 17. Afternoon or evening sessions will be scheduled based on attendance, if needed.
Join Hope’s Road for this free youth grief event offering hope and healing to each individual’s grief journey. Children, teenagers, young adults and their families will share how faith helps us heal while enjoying creative Minecraft adventures. Together, attendees will also pray, connect with others who are grieving, learn coping strategies and remember their special person who passed away.
Children will need a parent/guardian assistance to participate in this virtual program. If registering online, please include your child’s Minecraft gamertag with their name when registering.
Two devices are recommended for participation: one device such as a gaming system, laptop, or tablet, etc. and another device such as a phone to video or dial into the Zoom feature. The Zoom link and further instructions will be sent after registration.
Hope’s Road is rooted in the Christian faith and welcomes individuals of all faiths and backgrounds. Attendees will also have the chance to learn more about Hope’s Road and the support services Good Samaritan Hospice offers.
Registration is due by October 4.
